DJI RC PRO 2 – Professional control in your hands

“The DJI RC Pro 2 controller delivers cinematic quality control from a bird’s eye view – the ideal choice for any creator looking to push the boundaries of aerial filming. Its powerful 7-inch high-brightness Mini-LED display ensures crystal-clear images even in direct sunlight, while the rotating display automatically syncs with the drone’s gimbal for instant vertical shooting. Enterprise-grade multi-beam antennas ensure ultra-reliable video transmission, and the integrated design means the controller automatically powers on when unfolded and extends the control sticks, so you can start creating right away. Plus, you can record high-quality audio with the built-in microphone or connect directly to the DJI Mic Kit [2].

  • 7” High-brightness Mini-LED display
  • Foldable control sticks – no assembly required
  • Rotatable display for instant vertical shooting [1]
  • Unfold = on / fold = off
  • Built-in microphone & direct connection to DJI Mic [2]
  • Up to 4 hours of battery life [3]
  • 128GB built-in storage

High-brightness Mini-LED display

“The DJI RC Pro 2’s Mini-LED display delivers flagship-level monitor performance with an ultra-high peak brightness of 2000 nits, a sustained brightness of 1600 nits, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. It supports 10-bit color and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring exceptional display quality. The display not only displays HDR footage from the Mavic 4 Pro in real time, but also accurately reproduces video in D-Log / D-Log M / HLG formats through assistive display functions, giving you precise control over the image during creation.

Foldable design – unfold and start

“The RC Pro 2 features a smart folding design that automatically powers on when unfolded. The control sticks slide out smoothly with the screen, ensuring fast and smooth operation. Adjustable screen stands allow you to find the ideal viewing angle and add a professional touch to your creative process.

Rotating display for instant vertical shooting
When used with the Mavic 4 Pro or Mini 4 Pro, the RC Pro 2 allows synchronized gimbal rotation, allowing for instant switching to vertical shooting when the screen is rotated. In portrait mode, the RC Pro 2 controller’s viewing area can be up to 5.5 times larger than the RC 2 controller, allowing full use of the large display for detailed preview of content.

Quick sleep and wake-up
Folding the screen automatically puts the RC Pro 2 into low-power mode, allowing for quick re-start when needed. This allows for seamless movement between locations without the need to frequently turn the device on and off, greatly increasing efficiency.

Smart Features for Easy Aerial Shooting
O4+ Transmission for More Stable Signal
DJI RC Pro 2 is compatible with multiple drones, including DJI Air 3S, DJI Air 3, and DJI Mini 4 Pro [4]. It features enterprise-grade high-gain multi-beam antennas that enable transmission distances of up to 30 km [5] when used with the Mavic 4 Pro, while providing 10-bit HDR transmission for realistic images and an extremely stable signal.

Dynamic Home Point Support for Convenient Vehicle Shooting
When controlling the drone from a moving vehicle, the RC Pro 2 dynamically updates the home point position in real time, ensuring that the Mavic 4 Pro can safely and quickly return to a location near your vehicle.

“Built-in Simulator and Tutorials
The controller features a built-in flight simulator that simulates real-world flight conditions, control interfaces, moving objects, and even signal interference. It helps beginners quickly master flight maneuvers.
Powerful performance for high-quality livestreaming
Third-party app support for live streaming
The RC Pro 2’s powerful hardware delivers a smooth experience comparable to flagship tablets. With third-party app support, you can enjoy projection live streaming, edit downloaded footage, and share it to social media right from the controller – no computer required.

Enhanced livestreaming
Built-in microphone HDMI port
The RC Pro 2 features a built-in microphone that allows for high-quality audio recording. It also supports direct connection to the DJI Mic Kit [2], ideal for professional voice-overs or capturing ambient sounds. With HDMI output, you can output UI-free images to larger screens – ideal for sharing live broadcasts in real time with your team, clients or audience [6].

New rotary dial for efficient parameter settings and shot selection
The new rotary dial, complete with five-way buttons, is located on both sides of the controller, making it comfortable to operate with your thumb, even when wearing gloves.
It allows for quick and easy parameter settings such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, as well as shot selection.

4-Hour Battery Life, 128GB Built-in Storage
The DJI RC Pro 2 offers up to 4 hours of battery life [3], which is the same time it takes to charge four Mavic 4 Pro batteries – ideal for long shoots and continuous broadcasting. The controller has 128GB of built-in storage [8] and supports microSD card expansion, so you have plenty of space to record and edit directly on the controller.

Concluding the DJI RC PRO 2 and Mavic 4 Pro leaks

With this leak. We now know everything there is to know on the DJI Mavic 4 Pro (read part 1 here if you missed it) and the new remote. I am sad to hear rumors the remote and M4 Creator Combo is probably delayed until June. So we will only see the Mavic Pro 64GB coming Tuesday. Cheers! Jasper
