The German government confirmed the delivery of seven Songbird drones to Ukraine, a product of the innovative minds at Germandrones.
The Songbird series comprises three variants: the Songbird 60, Songbird 100, and the most advanced, Songbird 150. While the specific version delivered reportedly remains undisclosed, the Songbird 150 is known for its superior operational capabilities, setting a high benchmark in the field of aerial reconnaissance.
The Songbird 150 stands out with its ability to carry a payload of up to 4.4 kg, offering a range of up to 110 km. Its operational ceiling reaches an impressive altitude of 5,000 meters, allowing for extensive surveillance missions over vast areas. This capability is critical for Ukraine as it seeks to monitor and respond to security threats more effectively.
