A Closer Look at the Teaser Image

The teaser image provides a glimpse of four distinct parts, which are rumored to belong to the new DJI RS 4 and/or RS 4 Pro gimbal. From left to right, we can observe a camera, a grip with a record button, a touch display featuring an “M” and a record button, and a portion of what appears to be the motorized stabilizer arm with the name RONIN on it.

As is typical with DJI’s teasers, the image doesn’t reveal all the details, leaving much to be discovered during the official launch.

Recent FCC Filings and Leaked Photos of DJI RS 4

Approximately a month ago, the DJI RS 4 made an appearance in the FCC database, a strong indication that a new DJI product would soon be available in the US market. More recently, a leaked photo of the DJI RS 4 Pro Combo surfaced, further fueling the anticipation surrounding the upcoming release.

The FCC filings for both the DJI RS 4 (2ANDR-P14C23) and DJI RS 4 Pro (2ANDR-P04P23) were identified under DJI Osmo Technology, highlighting their specialized nature and distinguishing them from DJI’s drone products. The filings also revealed new accessories, including the Focus Pro Grip, Focus Pro Motor, and Focus Pro Hand Unit, signaling a comprehensive upgrade to DJI’s gimbal ecosystem.

Battery Capacities and Performance

Both the RS 4 and RS 4 Pro models appear to maintain the battery capacities of their predecessors. The RS 4 features a 3000mAh 21.6Wh battery, while the RS 4 Pro boasts a 1950mAh 30.03Wh battery. This consistency suggests that DJI aims to deliver the same trusted performance and reliability that their gimbals are known for.

As we eagerly await the official launch on April 9th, it’s clear that DJI is gearing up for an exciting week ahead. With the DJI Avata 2 launch seemingly scheduled for April 11th and now the DJI RS 4 gimbal set to be introduced on April 9th, tech enthusiasts and content creators alike have much to look forward to.

While specific details on specs, features, and pricing remain under wraps, the wait will be short-lived, and we can expect DJI to deliver another impressive addition to their lineup of professional-grade stabilization equipment.
