This is a complete unboxing of the brand-new DJI Mavic 4 Pro Creator Bundle. I’ll walk through the differences between this bundle and others, just in case you’re curious. Note that I paid for this unit myself, so I can share my honest opinions without any restrictions from DJI. I purchased it at the DJI Store in Barcelona, where you can walk in and buy items on the spot. It was quite an investment.
Opening the Box
The first step is to remove the plastic packaging. The key difference between this Creator Bundle and other bundles is the controller. This bundle includes the new RC Pro 2 controller, while regular bundles come with the RC 2 controller, which is less advanced. The RC Pro 2 has an integrated display and additional features we’ll explore later. Additionally, this bundle includes more batteries than the standard unit, which has just one, or the base bundle, which includes three batteries with the RC 2 remote.
Inside the Carrying Bag
The drone comes ready to go in a sturdy carrying bag, which I appreciate. The bag is hefty, and inside, you’ll find the drone (still in plastic), a battery charging dock, extra propellers, the RC Pro 2 remote, cables, and a high-speed power block with a robust USB-C cable. There’s also some silica gel for moisture control, but that’s about it for the bag’s contents.

Unpacking the Components
After unpacking, here’s what’s on the table:
The Drone
The Mavic 4 Pro features a new protective cover, a significant improvement over the Mavic 3 Pro’s cover, which had cumbersome straps. This one snaps on easily.
Battery Charging Hub
The charging hub supports faster charging than previous models. It can charge via USB-C at 100 watts, suitable for travel with a laptop, though it takes longer. For super-fast charging (240 watts), use the included power block and its dedicated connector. The hub charges the lowest battery first, then tops off the others.
Power Cables
The bundle includes multiple power cords: a UK plug, an angled Australian plug, two Euro plugs (one skinnier, one thicker), and three American plugs. The number of American plugs seems excessive, and I couldn’t discern any differences in wattage between them.
Propellers
There are two full extra sets of propellers (A and B props), enough to equip the drone multiple times. Typically, only one propeller breaks at a time, so these should last a while.
USB-C Cable and RC Pro 2 Remote
A braided USB-C charging cable is included, along with the RC Pro 2 remote. The remote’s screen tilts out and powers on automatically. The joysticks fold down for a sleek design.
Setting Up the Drone
To prepare the drone, remove its protective cover and bottom padding, then insert a battery. Unfolding the arms automatically powers it on, similar to the DJI Flip. Folding the arms back up turns it off after a few seconds.
Next Steps
This covers the unboxing and components of the Mavic 4 Pro Creator Bundle. In future sections, I’ll Review features like ActiveTrack and discuss what works, what doesn’t, and details others might overlook.
