14-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized with Lacerations

A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized on Sunday morning after sustaining injuries from a commercial-style drone he reportedly was operating at the Dania Beach Fishing Pier in Florida. The incident, which occurred around 9:00 a.m., left the teen with multiple lacerations caused by the drone’s propeller blades.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), deputies responded to the scene and found the injured boy. They learned that the teen had been operating the drone when the accident occurred. The boy’s parents were contacted and reportedly cooperated with the deputies during the investigation.
