Unveiling the Future of Drone Delivery
DJI, a global leader in Drone Technology, has officially launched the DJI FlyCart 30 outside China, marking a significant advancement in the field of aerial delivery.
The DJI FlyCart 30, a powerful and robust drone, is engineered to transport heavy cargo across long distances, while the DJI DeliveryHub serves as a comprehensive air delivery management platform. This combination is set to redefine air transport solutions by enhancing safety, efficiency, and adaptability.
“From agriculture to construction management and surveying, DJI’s industrial-grade drones have transformed industries by improving safety for workers and productivity for businesses,” said Christina Zhang, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at DJI. “We are optimistic that FlyCart 30 will become a trusted solution for aerial delivery, solving complex terrain and terminal transportation problems efficiently, economically, and most importantly, safely from the air.”
The Power and Versatility of DJI FlyCart 30
The DJI FlyCart 30 stands out as a game-changer in drone delivery, especially in challenging scenarios like mountain, offshore, and emergency rescue transportation. Featuring a coaxial four-axis, eight-blade, multi-rotor configuration with carbon fiber propellers, the FC30 achieves a maximum flight speed of 20 m/s. Its dual-battery configuration allows for a 30 kg payload over a 16 km range, while the emergency single-battery mode increases the payload capacity to 40 kg for up to 8 km.
Designed for Extreme Conditions
The FC30 is engineered to excel in various environmental scenarios, ensuring maximum performance and safety. With an IP55 rating, it operates in temperatures ranging from -20° to 45° C (-4° to 122° F) and withstands winds up to 12 m/s. The self-heating batteries maintain optimal performance in low temperatures, making the FC30 a reliable choice for diverse operational needs.
Enhanced Operational Safety
Safety is a paramount concern for DJI, and the FC30 is equipped with several features to ensure secure operations. These include dual active phased array radar and binocular vision systems for intelligent obstacle sensing and an integrated parachute for emergency landings. The built-in ADS-B signal receiver alerts pilots of nearby crewed aircraft, enhancing situational awareness.
Flexible Delivery Options
The FC30 offers two primary modes of operation: Cargo and Winch. In Cargo mode, payloads are secured in a 70-liter case equipped with weight and center-of-gravity sensors. Winch mode features a 20m cable for delivering goods to areas without convenient landing spots, complete with AR Projection for precise placement.
Streamlined Delivery Management with DJI DeliveryHub
DJI DeliveryHub is a comprehensive platform that simplifies aerial delivery operations, offering features like operation planning, status monitoring, and data analysis. It integrates seamlessly with external cloud platforms, adapting to various industry-specific applications. DJI Pilot 2 further enhances manual flight operations, providing real-time flight and cargo status updates.
A Leap Forward in Aerial Delivery
The introduction of DJI FlyCart 30 and DJI DeliveryHub marks a significant leap in the aerial logistics industry. By combining robust drone technology with an advanced management platform, DJI is set to revolutionize the way goods are transported, offering efficient, economical, and safe solutions from the air. As DJI continues to innovate, the possibilities for aerial delivery continue to expand, promising a brighter future for industries worldwide.
