Tiktok dropping loads of DJI leaks, a new exclusive front view image of the DJI Mavic 4 Pro here today and a lot of empty shells found in China. After almost two months of waiting in silence, the wheels are slowly beginning to turn towards the release of the Mavic 4 pro. Lets ‘dive’ in these new images, leaks, tweets and videos!
New Front View Image Leaked
The image heading this article is provided to me by our trustworthy friend YueYue. Earlier he showed me a very crisp image of the Mavic 4 Pro which we will probably see in the DJI Fly App launch screen. Today, he send me this stunning image of the streamlined Mavic 4 Pro totally folded up. It almost reminds me of a hawk diving down to get its prey. This new image really points out the amazing camera up front of this drone. One can only imagine the image quality at this point, but it has to be amazing and a big step up from the DJI Mavic 3.
Also looking at is, I’m wondering what the Mavic 4 will get as a gimbal protector. It almost needs some kind of huge diving sphere to solve this problem. Or some kind of cap, only covering the lenses.
Viral Mavic 4 Video
After personal confirmation by my Chinese friend this Wednesday, we exclusively revealed the camera of the DJI Mavic 4 Pro will turn both ways 179 degrees. Confirming vertical lossless video will be a new feature on the Mavic 4. And while we were still processing this features we were surprised by another uploaded video yesterday. A Chinese influencer was seen, and recorded, starting up a clean Mavic 4. With clean I mean there where no prototype stickers seen on this drone. Although the video is only 5 seconds long, we can clearly see he is holding the RC PRO 2 and wearing a DJI Goggles 3. If there is any way of connecting the Mavic 4 Pro to the Goggles 3 is pure speculation at this point. But we can conclude Mavic 4 Pro’s will be send across the whole world in the coming week.
DJI Selling Shells By The Seashore
I have been watching DJI leaks for about 7 years now, but I have never seen so many shells of a specific drone before. This whole week Mavic 4 Pro shells are ‘washing up’ at TikTok and X like there was an accident with a cargo ship. Its unprecedented, a few years ago one picture of a shell would be world news, today its ‘oh look another Mavic 4 Pro shell… I wonder what it will look like on launch day… YAWN”. I wonder if we will see the same for the DJI Mini 5.
DJI Mavic 4 Pro Specs Slowly Confirmed
While there is still no official spec sheet of the upcoming drone. These Chinese ‘FCC files’ confirm the existence of a 100 watt and 240 watt charger working with the Mavic 4. The DJI Mavic 4 Pro Parallel Charging Hub will easily charge multiple batteries at the same time, providing owners to fly an alleged 50 minutes per battery.
Coming Closer
What to expect in the coming days and weeks? My sources told me the DJI Mavic 4 Pro will be announced in April, but delivery is expected not earlier than May. I can’t promise you anything at the time, this is just what we all have been told at this moment. Future updates and leaks from webshops will confirm a possible release date.
